ID Validation 1.5.0 beta released
26. April 2021
What has changed in version 1.5.0 beta2?
In the first beta version, unfortunately, a few minor errors have crept in, which are now corrected in the second beta version.
- Access-Violation of CSV - Especially with CSV files there was a runtime error when splitting the files. This has been fixed.
- Incomprehensible translation - The translation of some elements still contained the wrong texts. This is also fixed in beta2.

What has changed in version 1.5.0 beta1?
With today’s release of version 1.5 (still in beta), we have finally completed the development of the last few months, so we can make these new features and changes available to our customers.
The planned release of the stable version is scheduled for the end of April or beginning of May.
We have developed not only the new duplicate check module, but also two small additional modules. We are very pleased to present them to you:
With this module we would like to support you to find duplicate master data or to point out common quality problems. The two-part module checks in the first step and normalizes your addresses, before it checks with the second step all data for duplicates, groups them and provides them to you for further processing. The module is far from being at the end of its capacity and so we look forward to your feedback and suggestions so that this module can be further adapted to your needs in the future.
You can find the documentation via the menu below the Duplicate-Check.
This small module is the beginning of our information service. We would like to use it to be able to inform our customers more quickly about necessary information such as impairments of services (BZSt, EORI, VIES, etc.), but also when we publish important updates.
For more information, see the brief overview of the Informationservice directly.
This module runs in the background and represents the interface to the “outside world” of ID Validation. We have centralized all the functions that were previously integrated in the various modules into this module, thus removing the complexity from the individual modules.
There have been a lot of changes, we would like to discuss the most important ones here. You can find the detailed overview in our changelogs.
We have forced a migration of our configuration files from JSON to ini and when version 1.5 is launched for the first time, they are automatically migrated to the new format and the “old” JSON files are archived. Now it is easier for you, our customers, to perform the settings if you use background processing only.
We have revised all import interfaces and export interfaces. No temporary files are now created during runtime and the entire result is output at the end. This has enabled a huge performance increase and also made it possible to perform parallel testing.
Some call parameters have changed. We would like to and must go into one at this point:
--mode auto now becomes
You will find a complete overview in each case if you call the individual service with the
The entire program is now translated and available in English and German.
Of course, all our customers for whom we have developed individual modules will benefit from the changes in version 1.5. Please understand that we cannot update this immediately. A corresponding information when this will be available in each case, we will send in the next few days.
