For development and especially testing of our ID Validation (but also other custom software), we now have a large pool of configured Windows servers installed on AWS. To get a quick overview of which machines are currently running or to launch one of the existing instances, we came up with a simple interface.
With the AWS EC2 Starter, unlike the AWS Fargate Starter, we have dispensed with all local requirements and also provide the backend.
At github you can download the backend repository and modify it according to your requirements.
We cannot be held liable for any damage to your EC2 instances or underlying business processes.
Save the downloaded ewapps_aws_ec2.exe in a destination folder of your choice and start the program. Enter the URL of the backend and the security string of your choice. You will then be shown all available instances.
Next to each listed EC2 instance you can see the InstanceID as well as the current status. Stopped instances can be started and started instances can be stopped. If an instance has a different status, no action can be performed. This is indicated by the orange color and the button label ‘n/a’.
As soon as we release a new version of AWS EC2 Starter, we will list the changes that have been made to it here in more detail.
We are also very happy to receive your suggestions regarding the AWS EC2 Starter tool. We are looking forward to any feedback. Please use our contact form to do so.
This software AWS EC2 Starter is freeware and can be redistributed without our consent! We assume no liability for the software!
